Retro Upgrades offers fast shipping to all of our customers in the UK, along with both standard and tracked delivery services available for our international customers. We use Royal Mail & UPS for all of our shipping services as they are reliable and provide fast delivery worldwide.
Shipping cut-off time and Posting Dates
We ship 3 days a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. During busy periods or after public holidays, we typically also ship on Tuesday and Thursday. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be sent the next working day. ‘Order Dispatched’ emails with tracking number are usually sent out late in the afternoon.
UK Shipping
If you spend over £50.00 in our store, you are eligible for receive FREE Royal Mail 24 Tracked delivery to anywhere in the UK no matter the parcel size.

Royal Mail 24 Tracked (including Signed For): typically ~24 hours.
Royal Mail Special Delivery with Saturday Guarantee: next day guaranteed
*Please use Special Delivery only for Friday orders requiring Saturday arrival. If chosen on other days, we’ll still ship by Special Delivery on the next working day, but refund the Saturday Guarantee fee. Note: as per above, we only ship three days a week.
International Shipping
VAT/Import Fees: International shipments outside of the UK do not include any VAT or duties (aside from below EU VAT/Duty + USA duty). Our prices for international customers are exclusive of UK VAT (shown as excl. VAT) and UK VAT is removed upon adding to cart/checkout when the destination country is outside of the UK.
Please be aware that you may have to pay taxes or duties when you import products. The rate of tax/duties depends on the destination country. If you are unclear, please check with your local customs office. We will not accept liability for returns due to declined shipments or unpaid import charges that you may incur. We can only offer to refund orders minus delivery and return charges, once the declined parcel has been returned to us.
European Union VAT & Duty (updated 27/07/2026): For most countries within the EU where the total value of goods is under €150, we now collect EU VAT (VAT%) and duty (£2.60 + £1 customs handling fee) on your behalf, so there are zero taxes/duty or fees to pay upon import. is currently available for the following countries and the amount of tax/duty is displayed on the cart/checkout page.
Pre-paid EU VAT & duty is available for: Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden.
Pre-paid EU VAT & duty is not available (but is coming soon) for: Belgium, Croatia, Czechia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovenia. Currently for these countries, shipments are sent with tax/duty unpaid, so you will be billed EU taxes by local customs on import.
For orders shipped to the EU where the total value of goods is above €150, we do not collect EU VAT/duty and any EU taxes will be billed to you by local customs upon import.
United States Duty: For USA orders starting from 29 August 2025, the US government will scrap the $800 de minimis threshold, which allowed goods valued at under $800 to enter the country without duties/taxes. We now collect US duty upon checkout as per below in Country Specific Notices. All duty/import charges are included in your order price and no further charges will apply.
Express shipping: We typically ship orders using UPS, FedEx, or DPD. If you have a preferred courier, please email us immediately after placing your order, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. Express shipping to the US is disabled and is only available to countries within the EU if the total goods value is above €150.

BRAZIL – Please include your CPF number in your shipping address or send us an email with your CPF number.
ITALY – 18/07/2026: We’ve re-enabled Royal Mail shipping to Italy. Please note, Italian customs/Poste Italiane have previously been slow to process shipments once the shipment arrives in Italy in some cases.
ISRAEL – 21/10/2025: We have temporarily disabled Royal Mail to Israel due to delays. We offer affordable express shipping options available to Israel on the website.
UAE – If using Royal Mail, please include a POBOX number.
USA – 29/08/2025: Royal Mail shipping options are available again. The total U.S. duty charged is calculated as 10% of the total cost, plus a £1.00 handling fee per shipment. Both charges are invoiced to us by Royal Mail, which collects U.S. duty on behalf of the U.S. Treasury. All shipping labels are officially stamped “PDDP” by Royal Mail, indicating that the duty has been paid and no further charges will apply.
UPS/FedEx shipping options to the US have been temporarily disabled until we are able to pre-pay US duty on your behalf for these services. Please kindly use Royal Mail for now.
