Description

This cable is made for MiSTeR, it is also fully compatible with the Analogue DAC & various pro-equipment such as PVM/BVM’s.

Can be used to output RGBs or RGBHV. For RGBs, use only yellow (H/CSYNC) connector, for RGBHV, use both yellow (H/CSYNC) and black (VSYNC). Your source device must be configured to output your desired resolution and sync type. For MiSTeR:

If using RGBs (red, green, blue & yellow connectors only):

composite_sync=1

If using RGBHV (red, green, blue, yellow & black connectors):

composite_sync=0

If you are using a 15khz (240p/480i) CRT TV/Monitor, ensure these lines are also changed in your MiSTeR.ini:

forced_scandoubler = 0
vga_scaler=0

Please ensure your monitor can handle the resolution being output by your source device. For example, if your MiSTeR is set to output RGBs to a standard definition PVM via VGA -> x4 BNC connectors, you should only feed the monitor 15kHz (240p/480i) as 31kHz (480p+) is not supported by a standard definition PVM.

This cable will work for PC CRT (VGA) monitors that have BNC inputs for RGB. However, in this case please pay attention to use 31kHz signals (480p+) as most PC CRT monitors cannot accept 15kHz.
