Example of use:
- Extending connections by using two male SCART cables together.
- A simple replacement for a female to female SCART cable. Less cables involved. Less signal degradation.
- Allows for audio can be extracted from the SCART connector and routed to the 3.5mm audio connector on the side of the adapter for headphone/external speaker use.
Note on audio: stereo audio is extracted from the ‘IN’ SCART connector which is routed to the 3.5mm audio output jack (headphones/external speakers) OR simply passed through to the ‘OUT’ SCART connector (to TV speakers). Selectable via the switch on the side of the adapter.
If you wish to use x2 RCA (red and white) for audio, the supplied 3.5mm to x2 RCA cable can be connected to the 3.5mm audio output jack and then routed to the x2 RCA jacks on your speakers.
