VGA to SCART Cable to connect your MiSTeR FPGA to your SCART TV/monitor/switcher.

Specifications:

  • Length = 1.8M.
  • Connector A = Male EuroSCART, Connector B = VGA HD-15 male, Connector C = 3.5mm audio.
  • Configured for CSYNC on VGA pin 13 (HSYNC). 470 ohm resistor on sync to attenuate to safe 75 ohm level sync.
  • All grounds interconnected.
  • Fully shielded – overall aluminium foil shielding with each line individually shielded to protect from external interference and cable crosstalk.
  • Custom PCB inside SCART connector designed by Retro Upgrades.

This cable is made for MiSTeR, it is also fully compatible with the Analogue DAC & various pro-equipment such as PVM/BVM’s.

This cable is plug and play. Simply change this line in your MiSTeR.ini and you’re set!

If you are using a 15khz (240p/480i) CRT TV/Monitor, ensure these lines are also changed in your MiSTeR.ini:

forced_scandoubler = 0
vga_scaler=0

Wiring configuration:

VGA pin 13 (HSYNC) to SCART pin 20 (SYNC)
VGA pin 14 to SCART pin 16 (BLANKING)
VGA pin 9 is N/C
