Please note: this is a European model Mega Drive/Genesis 1 and Japanese cartridges will not fit without modification to the cartridge slot. We recommend an Everdrive by krikzz for the best experience.
The Triple Bypass V2 uses a Mega Drive/Genesis 2 AV multi-out, so a MD/Genesis 2 RGB SCART cable is required instead of the typical MD1 RGB SCART cable.
Audio is routed through the multi-out, not the headphone jack.
50/60hz region switching LED status:
Red (USA/NTSC-U), green (JP/NTSC-J) & blue (EU/PAL).
In-game reset controls:
Hold START + A + B + C for 2-3 seconds = reset the console.
Hold START + A + B + C for 4-5 seconds (or hold indefinitely) = switch between region/frequency.
DFO:
Dual frequency oscillator which corrects the base clocks for 50Hz and 60Hz video-modes. Enabling PAL consoles to be comparable to genuine 60hz consoles which is ideal for RGB users. Eliminates black & white video output via composite/s-video and eliminates stutter with modern displays which are less tolerant with sync than CRT TVs.
