This console has a few more scuffs to the shell than we usually like to see, but we still feel it is in collectible condition and looks great overall.
This listing is for only the console. No controllers or cables are included, unless you decide to purchase the console with one of our Premium MD2 RGB SCART cables from the drop-down menu.
Please note: this is a European model Mega Drive/Genesis 2 and Japanese cartridges will not fit without modification to the cartridge slot. We recommend an Everdrive by krikzz for the best experience.
50/60hz region switching LED status:
Orange (USA/NTSC-U), green (JP/NTSC-J) & blue (EU/PAL).
In-game reset controls:
Hold START + A + B + C for 2-3 seconds = reset the console.
Hold START + A + B + C for 4-5 seconds (or hold indefinitely) = switch between region/frequency.
DFO:
Dual frequency oscillator which corrects the base clocks for 50Hz and 60Hz video-modes. Enabling PAL consoles to be comparable to genuine 60hz consoles which is ideal for RGB users. Eliminates black & white video output via composite/s-video and eliminates stutter with modern displays which are less tolerant with sync than CRT TVs.
