The Sony BVM-20F1E is one of the greatest CRT monitors to exist and is at the high end of the Sony CRT video monitor range. Whilst professional video monitors were not originally available to the consumer market and strictly used for purposes such as movie and TV post-production, professional monitors have since fallen into the hands of retro gamers and have become highly sought after due to their incredible picture quality and no lag whilst playing retro video games. In the 2000’s, when the switch to flat-panel displays occurred, many units were recycled, and over the years, supply rapidly dried up.
