Unlock your Mega Drive/Genesis! This kit allows for region switching between JP, EU and USA along with 50/60hz. It also features a DFO (dual frequency oscillator) which enables the correct timings for both PAL & NTSC to get the best Mega Drive/Genesis experience.

Features:

  • Region & 50/60HZ switching Switch between EU 50hz, USA 60hz & JP 60hz from the reset button.
  • DFO Correct timings for both PAL/NTSC. Eliminates the black & white picture in composite/s-video and can help eliminate stutter from modern displays which are less tolerant with sync than CRT TVs.
  • Drop in replacement  The board was designed to fit the footprint of the original crystal with standoffs.
  • LED QSB Includes a tri-color LED extension board to display which region you have currently selected. (USA/60hz, JP/60hz & PAL 50hz).
