Ideal for anyone who wishes to either play their original Japanese carts or use a Mega Everdrive using RGB! This console displays a beautiful picture and the audio quality is remarkable!

Features:

  • Sega Triple Bypass V2.1 kit optimizes both the audio & video for the Mega Drive. It incorporates the latest THS7374 amp and uses bypass circuitry to improve RGB signal clarity. For audio, it integrates the Mega Amp 2.0 audio amp which vastly improves the audio compared to stock systems.
  • Headphone audio restored using the 3BP V2.1 so that the 3.5mm headphone jack outputs 3BP stereo audio.
  • RGB output for the best video quality! JP launch model consoles have bad composite video quality so it is therefore disabled.
  • IGR resets the console via the controller. Short press to reset, long press for region swap.
  • 7805 voltage regulators replaced with brand new modern alternatives.
  • Cleaned both internally and externally.

Pictures are of the actual console you will receive minus the first picture which is our stock thumbnail for all MD1 Japanese consoles. The console is in top condition, the best JP MD1 we’ve had yet. Console only, no controllers or cables are included.

Cable: This Triple Bypass V2.1 install uses a Mega Drive/Genesis 2 AV connector, so a MD/Genesis 2 RGB SCART cable is required instead of the typical MD1 RGB SCART cable. If you would like us to supply a cable, it is an option selectable from the drop-down menu.
