Sega Mega Drive 2 (European model) that has been modified for NTSC 60hz & fully equipped with the best audio & video upgrade kit – the 3BP V2. Ideal for anyone who doesn’t care for the PAL library and wishes to play their NTSC MD/Genesis games on a Mega Everdrive!

Features:

  • Sega Triple Bypass V2 kit optimizes both the audio & video for the Mega Drive. It incorporates the latest THS7374 amp and uses bypass circuitry to improve RGB signal clarity. For audio, it integrates the Mega Amp 2.0 audio amp which vastly improves the audio compared to stock systems.
  • Modified for NTSC 60hz This European PAL 50hz console has been modified to true NTSC 60hz spec. The PAL crystal has been swapped for an NTSC crystal, providing correct frequency with no slowdown. As such, it is effectively the same as a USA Genesis/JP Mega Drive.
  • Cleaned both internally and externally.
  • Serviced any faulty parts or out of spec components were replaced before any modifications were carried out.

Description

Console is in good condition with some general/age related wear. Any parts which we felt had to be highlighted are shown in the pictures. Console only, no controllers or cables are included.

Please note: Since this console is a PAL Mega Drive shell, NTSC Japanese games will not fit in the cartridge slot. However, NTSC USA games will. This console will fit all Mega Everdrive cartridges which can play both NTSC Japanese & NTSC USA games.
